A second national training took place in Kolasin, Montenegro, on September 21 and 22, 2017, specifically targeting inspectors from the Montenegrin Administration for Inspection Affairs. The training covered the Integrated Risk Assessment Method (IRAM) tool developed within the easyTools project of the European Union Network for the Implementation and Enforcement of Environmental Law (IMPEL).
Fifteen representatives from relevant inspection bodies were able to find out more about the meaning and value of the IRAM tool, and learned how to use it. They also received guidance from the IMPEL trainers on the implementation of the Recommendation on Minimum Criteria for Environmental Inspections (RMCEI).
Participants also confirmed the importance of further education on the enforcement of the EU acquis on environment and climate change.
